Studying the military

Our new unit in KONOS is about the military.  Last week I told the kids that's what we would be studying.  They found the couple of books we had from the library and started looking through them.  Here's what I found them doing:

They made their own scene of military vehicles. 

Today they started painting old white t-shirts in camouflage.  They both loved doing that and keep talking about how they are going to camouflage themselves and go to their friends house go they can't see them (at least, that is Creative Princesses plan.)

The beginning of the school day was not so fun so I decided we needed a fun project to liven it up.
