New Year's Resolutions

I'm not much of a New Year's Resolutions type person.  But I do like to set goals and now is as good a time as any.  So here are my goals:

Read the Bible every day!  I did ok in 2011-not great.  I want to miss fewer days. I started reading through the Bible a few months ago.  I found an on-line reading plan that goes through the Bible chronologically.  I did skip the book of Numbers and I started in Deutoronomy because I read Genesis through Leviticus during my pregnancy.  Now I'm reading Kings and Chronicles mostly.

Start exercising regularly.  I'm starting small.  The first goal is 10 minutes twice a week.  Yes, very small but time is an issue.  Four month old's aren't predictable and there are days I feel good just getting a 5 minute shower.  Plus Bible reading is even more important than exercise so that becomes priority.  Although I usually do my Bible reading while sitting on the couch nursing.

Serve my family better.  Specifically, plan meals and cook more often, keep up on chores-my own and making sure the kids are doing theirs, keep up on homeschooling- correcting the kids' work daily instead of weekly, bring more joy and fun into our daily routine, spend more time with my big kids, plan one date night per month with my husband.
